EBC Youth Group this summer is for all students grades 6th - 12th. Students are invited to fun activities, prayer, and Bible lessons. Youth Group events are great opportunities to invite friends! As always, please let us know if you need help with transportation.

Bible Study and Small Groups are on Wednesdays from 6:30-7:30 PM! All students in grades 6-12 are invited to join Pastor Van and our other amazing volunteers for games, Bible teaching, and small group discussions. For the next few months, in conjunction with the Sunday sermon series, we will be studying through the book of Luke.

Join us on Wednesday nights for accountability, encouragement, and learning. This is a great opportunity for you to invite a friend. It all begins again on Wednesday, January 14.

You don’t want to miss the exciting things planned on the following Sunday evenings, 6-8 PM. Plus, dinner will be provided!

• January 25 – The Winter Games that Happen Every Four Years! Come participate in multiple individual and team events designed to challenge even the most skillful participants. Go for gold! Bible passage: 1 Corinthians 9:24-27
• March 22 – Anti-volleyball Singles Tournament! Students and single folks in our church will gather together for an epic anti-volleyball experience. There will be winners, losers, and some will be left scratching their heads in disbelief. Bible passage: I Cor 15:50-58
• April 26 – Noodle Night! Did you know that pool noodles were invented in the 1980s in Canada? It will be a wacky night with oodles and oodles of pool noodles. And of course we’ll serve up some spaghetti. Bible passage: 1 John 4:7-12

• Encouragement Team meets on the first Saturday of the month, 9 -11 AM. Give up part of your weekend to bless those in our church family who are elderly, shut-ins, or in the hospital or our recent grads who have moved away. This is a great ministry of letter writing, phone calls, visits, and prayer. Your whole family is welcome to come! Upcoming Dates: Feb. 7, March 7, April 4, and May 2.

• Leader Lunch is a time for Youth Leaders to meet together for prayer, encouragement, and accountability as we endeavor to effectively disciple every student. Students who are juniors or seniors, please see Pastor Van if you are interested in being a student leader - we’d love to have you join us at Leader Lunch. Leader Lunch is held at Pastor Van’s house (301 S. Valley Rd) from noon to 2 PM on the following Sundays: January 18, February 15, March 15, and April 19.

• We’re going on a Walk! Monday, January 19 from 10 AM to 1 PM. Meet at Spring Lakes Park in Bellbrook (2191 Ferry Rd). Bring a friend and dress for the weather. You don’t want to miss this fantastic wilderness adventure!
• Winter Camp at Scioto Hills, February 20-22. Please save the date. Registration should open soon. Bring a friend and we hope to see you at Winter Camp! Be on the lookout for more details.
• Friday Night Game Night, March 13 (7-9 PM). Bring a friend and join us for an exciting night of board games and snacks. Location TBA. For high school students only.
• Parent Talk with Pastor Van, Sunday, May 17. Parents, guardians, grandparents, teachers, and anyone working with children are invited to a seminar that will give you advice and encouragement to be great, God-honoring parents. Time TBA.
• Memorial Day Reflections and Youngs Jersey Dairy, Sunday, May 24 from 5-8 PM. On this special holiday weekend, we will visit a cemetery to reflect on the significance of Memorial Day followed by a great evening of fun at Youngs Jersey Dairy with our amazing youth leaders. We welcome students who are entering 6th grade to join us. WOOHOO!

“Friday Night Alive” is a ministry designed to share the love of Jesus Christ with youth incarcerated in the Greene County Juvenile Detention Facility. Volunteers are trained and given the opportunity to share their story of faith with young people who desperately need Jesus.
